Browning X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite – 6.5 PRC 24″

Built tough and ready for anything, the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite is a no-nonsense rifle designed to perform in the bush, the mountains, and on the range.

At its core is a refined X-Bolt 2 action, featuring enhanced bolt guidance for smoother, faster cycling. The spiral-fluted bolt reduces weight, while the redesigned handle offers improved ergonomics and control when it counts.

The 24″ sporter contour barrel strikes a smart balance between accuracy and weight. It’s free-floated for consistency and threaded (M13x0.75), coming fitted with a radial muzzle brake and thread protector — with the option to upgrade to a Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter brake for even greater recoil reduction.

The DLX Trigger delivers a crisp, clean break with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel. Factory set at 3.5lb and adjustable down to 3.0lb, it’s built for precision straight out of the box.

Where this rifle really stands apart is the Vari-Tech stock. Fully configurable, it allows you to fine-tune comb height and length of pull for a perfect fit. Interchangeable grip modules let you choose your preferred angle, while rubber overmoulding ensures a secure hold in all conditions. Finished with a 1¼″ Inflex recoil pad, it noticeably softens recoil — especially with magnum calibres like 6.5 PRC.
